The Land

The Karnali region of Nepal lies above 3,000 meters in the high Himalayas. With cold climate, clean air, and very limited use of chemicals, food grows slowly and naturally here — giving it strong taste and exceptional quality. One growing season per year means every harvest is precious and seasonal.

Traditional Beekeeping

Beekeeping has been part of life in Humla for generations. Families traditionally make hives from local materials, care for bees according to seasons, and harvest honey carefully without harming bees. Honey is deeply connected to food culture, health, and rituals.
